Learning Chinese

Both of my parents immigrated from China, and we speak Chinese at home. I used to go to Chinese school and watched a lot of Chinese dramas as a kid, but I've since stopped and now my reading and writing skills have gone down by a bit. I personally care about this because I've wanted to go back to visit China for a while now, and I want to really immerse myself in a country's culture before I travel. I'd also like to have more points of connection with my parents.

The title is "Learning Chinese", but really I'm quite interested in anything related to China: making Chinese food, reading Chinese literature (I want to take a shot at a simplified Romance of the Three Kingdoms), or learning about Chinese history. If you are too, let's work something out :)
